Personal Development

This program is self-directed process-promotes the personal growth of each learner
through a wide scope of knowledge and activities. These range from business
management, problem solving, and decision-making to establish a productive relationship
with the learner, organization, and community.

When people work together to their full potential, amazing things happen. In addition, we
believe that the best way to reach that potential is through the power of collaborative
frameworks and serious games.

Today, making great people decisions is particularly important to both organizational and
individual professional success. People decisions involve assessing your existing line up
of strategic talent, practicing the concept of differentiation, and putting the right players in the right places.

This program is developed by Dr. Talil Abrhiem, a full professor in Organization
Management and Technology, who help learners discover their intellectual strength,
develop workable educational program, and use the best available resources within academic center.

Human Capital Model

The business model of an organization is one of the main determinants of the manner in
which the company competes for customers in the market segment. Several organizations
compete for the same set of customers in the market. At the end, organizations competing
for the same customers are locked in a competitive struggle for consumers.

The target of every organization is to reach the value frontier. This is done through
pursuing business-level strategies that result in sustainable competitive advantage. Such
organizations end up getting above average profits. Human Capital Consulting pursues a
differentiation model of business in its value-creation frontier.

Human Capital Consulting pursues a superior consumer responsiveness strategy to stay
ahead of the competition in the industry. Superior customer responsiveness means always
creating business experiences that go beyond the expectations of the learners.

Project Demonstrating Excellence: Dr. Talil Abrhiem

My philosophy of teaching has evolved because of a wide variety of educational
experiences and influences as well as considerable reflection on their meanings. After
receiving my doctoral degree, my goal is to apply my knowledge to learners.

It's easy to say, I want to encourage collaboration in the classroom. I will attempt to build
a classroom environment in which knowledge is shared rather than distributed,
challenged rather than accepted and experiential rather than abstracted. This environment
can be achieved through a heavy emphasis on my expectation that students will
participate and that their opinions are essential to increasing our understanding as a class.

To some degree, we all participate within a cultural framework of business related
methods. I conceive of the teaching process as a mutual exchange of ideas and
information between the professor and the students, as a fundamental way of stimulating
both sides' creativity.

Learners are to be keenly encouraged and continuously aware of the impact of the
learning process in their lives. I consider that one of the main goals of teaching is to
challenge students' former knowledge and mindset to help them develop a critical
perspective on things.

The role of the faculty in this process is to guide discussion, to offer critical,
philosophical, and historical information to suggest possible approaches. While I believe
that I guide my students, I also believe that they guide me through the observations and
perspectives they bring to class.

These new perspectives have the potential to alter my beliefs about what makes a good
teacher and good teaching as well as constantly challenge me to reassess my
conceptualization and organization of the field of Management. The terms “balance” and
“evolution” best describe my philosophy of teaching.

As we embark upon the challenges of the 21 st century, I foresee greater and greater
cultural and educational diversity in classrooms. In terms of my own professional
development, teaching will enable me to encounter new and different perspectives on
issues and ideas, and give me opportunities to stimulate varying views on critical issues.

As a practical person in the actual profession of business for over 27 years, allow me to
share my experiences and skills with learners along with the combined education.
Students will learn about organization management and the human resource function.
Students learn to manage the selection and development of personnel, equal opportunity,
compensation and benefits, and safety and health requirements. This course theme
teaches students on additional topics such as union relations, grievance and arbitration
procedures.

Learners also analyze various human resources issues using a case study approach.
International business environment course is designed to explore the macro to
microenvironment of international business, with analysis of the functional strategies of
multinational corporations, and more business administration courses. In the years ahead,
I will continue building on my program of research. There are many changes in training
policies and procedures.

I have focused my research specifically on training policy decisions as businesses enter
the future. This research includes changes in the workforce, how HR is affected, the
emphasis on training, and succession planning.

My second research focuses on leadership and ethical values in business cultures. Ethical
leadership does not depend on the leader’s choice of leadership style, rather on moral
development to which is motivated by ethical values when influencing others. This
research links business leadership and ethics. Both of these topics, I will continue to
develop on and further my study.

In summary, it is my deep desire to be of service to our nation that motivates to seek
learner success. I expect these goals will continue to be cornerstones in my approach to
the classroom and course-design efforts in the future. I believe my expert knowledge in
business and technology can be a valuable addition to your university.
